I go back on the 31st! Yeah I'm just not used to being stuck in bed, even after I have a C-section I still move around and do more than this! And they told me on the phone that they found a section of dead tendon when doing the tendon repair. They fixed the stuff we saw on the MRI and then when checking the length of the tendon they saw the dead section and had to cut it out and sew the tendon up. I will ask at the follow-up if that was damaged during the initial injury or if it happened while waiting for surgery.. I think I broke the tibia back in February or March so it's been some time....

@madison@nicecrew.digital That's not too long but an eternity when you've got stuff to do and kids to raise. Dead tendon? as in necrotic? That's unsettling. I hope they got it all and that removing it won't cause trouble. I will never fathom how you manged to stay upright like that for as long as you did. My pain threshold is relatively high but I think that would have me go into wet blanket mode fast. You must be made of tough stuff.
