@madison@nicecrew.digital That's not too long but an eternity when you've got stuff to do and kids to raise. Dead tendon? as in necrotic? That's unsettling. I hope they got it all and that removing it won't cause trouble.
I will never fathom how you manged to stay upright like that for as long as you did. My pain threshold is relatively high but I think that would have me go into wet blanket mode fast. You must be made of tough stuff.

So they described it as a cheese stick. My tendon is a cheese stick and there was a section that was smashed apart and damaged and had to be sewn together. But then they found another section that was a "flap" and not viable. So maybe "dead" isn't the word but it needed to be removed. So imagine like you took a big chunk out of a cheese stick because it was bad... Then they shaved everything down in the tendon to only healthy stuff and sewed it back together. I'm curious where that damage came from since the initial tendon damage was closer to where I broke my tibia
