So they described it as a cheese stick. My tendon is a cheese stick and there was a section that was smashed apart and damaged and had to be sewn together. But then they found another section that was a "flap" and not viable. So maybe "dead" isn't the word but it needed to be removed. So imagine like you took a big chunk out of a cheese stick because it was bad... Then they shaved everything down in the tendon to only healthy stuff and sewed it back together. I'm curious where that damage came from since the initial tendon damage was closer to where I broke my tibia

    @madison@nicecrew.digital I've strong stomach usually but that made it go all wibbly. It seems they did a thorough job as you describe it but still that's astonishing that it got that bad and that you were walking about business as usual until, well you weren't. Did they give an expectation of how it would heal with regard to sensation and mobility?
