Spring Session M had so many bangers. Of course ‘Walking in LA’ was so goddamn clever. (Nobody walks in LA, only a nobody walks in LA.) And my favorite track is generally unknown to anyone who isn’t specifically a Missing Persons fan: ‘Noticeable One’
I’ve probably seen Missing Persons (mostly Dale Bozzio performing as Missing Persons) more times than any other act. I was hooked from the moment KROQ started playing the hell outta ‘Mental Hopscotch’ before they even had a record deal.

A funny thing about growing up around famous people is how often you’d see these amazing women dating or marrying such schlubs. Thinking I might have a chance—generally—wasn’t so much about misplaced confidence as just knowing reasonably handsome nice guys compared well to most of the men who pursued them.
