The recent trends in AI and anti-AI sentiment remind me of Battlestar Galactica. Due to the advanced capabilities of the Cylons (AI), the Galactica's response was to go full retro tech. Cylons can't infiltrate air-gapped ships and air-gapped computers. Sure, their ship was "legacy" by the time the conflict started but the "legacy" aspect is what saved everyone. Makes me wonder what the future of tech has in store for us, and how many might go full retro tech in response. #ThrowbackThursday
