I'm guilty of having watched the Dan Olson #NFTs video many more times than I can count; it's often something I play on my phone when I'm washing dishes or otherwise trying to do some chore--it hits a sweet spot of being familiar enough not to be overly distracting while retaining power to engage my intellect and give my wandering thoughts something definite to chew over. And also...it's all about #money, or more precisely the intense and dangerously infectious culture of chasing after money through market gambling and other scams that promise easy wins. (cont'd)

I'd like to talk about a very tiny part of the video. Here I'm dropping a link to Olson's YouTube video cued up at just the spot: he's excerpted a small clip of an NFT fanboy giving his audience advice, and it's such a bizarre little performance that I've not been able to stop myself from trying to analyze it as much as possible.
