I'd like to talk about a very tiny part of the video. Here I'm dropping a link to Olson's YouTube video cued up at just the spot: he's excerpted a small clip of an NFT fanboy giving his audience advice, and it's such a bizarre little performance that I've not been able to stop myself from trying to analyze it as much as possible. Here it is:

Descriptive transcription:
[strange reflexive smile and slight throat-clearing cough just as he starts talking] One thing that I've learned about NFTs...if you think something is gonna be a blue chip...[licks his lips reflexively] you should definitely buy at least two, because you're gonna get [twiddles fingers of his right hand before 'counting' off his pinky finger with his left hand] emotionally attached to one of them...and you're not gonna want to sell it because NFTs are gonna explode all over the world and if you've got a blue chip today...[throwing his head back, mouth open, winding up his enthusiasm] it's gonna be INCREDIBLY more valuable...in five years from now or even three years from now or even two years from now than it is today.

Meanwhile the NFT fanboy is sitting stiffly at a table, looking strangely glassy-eyed and uncomfortable, his eyes darting this way and that, while his hand gestures convey a suggestion of being used to display his fat wristwatch and rings on both hands, visible tokens of his street cred as a canny NFT investor.
It's a bizarre little performance and, rated as a sales pitch, it's astonishingly unconvincing. His voice pauses at odd places, hinting perhaps that some part of his brain is commanding his mouth to hesitate just before or just after saying something ridiculous, something that would move a more honest person to admit their uncertainty.
Can an NFT, a "non-fungible token" that is in fact extremely fungible, ever be considered a blue chip investment? In any conceivable scenario?
