Predictably, Mamdani is claiming he can't arrest Netanyahu. Predictably, the Empire targeted the ICC which was useful for US imperialists in going after Putin and disfavored African leaders. But there's nothing stopping Mamdani from using his massive platform to urge emergency orders in the Genocide Convention at the ICJ. Most predictable thing ever. He never ever planned to do anything about it anyway, it was always a cynical lie. It’s extremely frustrating and disheartening to see how the genocide in palestine has been turned into this meaningless idpol qualifier, it’s not about materially helping the people of Palestine, it’s just “my little man insert celebrity name said the word genocide” and that’s all that seemingly counts now. Another ongoing tragedy turned into a worthless gimmick, there is not a single solution offered within the realm of electoralism, justice has been murdered together with the innocents. tldr; fuck this guy, also the sad music in the background of his stupid little video was maddening, manipulating piece of shit.

He could go after him for tax stuff but the bigger issue is this faction is already condemning the palestinian resistance, courting lib zionists, and in general a product of online influencer campaigns which engage in extremely catty, high-school like behavior which is passively rewarded on social media. Ever now the scolds are out saying it’s DSA people’s fault for believing his lies. I almost feel bad for them, if they haven’t lived through 3 of these Wile E. Coyote-ass bait-and-switch campaigns already. That would be pretty hard since we had that many in the past year. I wish I could leave. Everyone in art spaces is obsessed with anointing themselves as a divine well of intellectual property, which they think will amount to resistance (if they can achieve it by talking about it a lot) to the “technocapitalists” which I believe is a term used to dilute comparisons to the cycles of industrial/finance capital, which can easily be studied by opening a few books, instead of gluing your eyes to an evil flashlight all day. Never go to NYC. Or LA. Actually stay home Side note, but I sure hope you are “beyond orwell”, that dude was pretty nasty & historically on the same side as these chauvinists.
