@Girgias@phpc.social the European train system has a lot of improvements that still need to be implemented, especially when things go wrong. I hate fossil fuel slurping planes, but airlines have that shit sorted pretty well

@Skoop@phpc.social between that and Eurostar being *insanely* expensive yes. I known the latest EU rail regulation package should mandate cross company ticketing guarantees but it's currently planned in a nonsensical way...

@Skoop@phpc.social Most of the time due to allowing rather direct travel ... I am right now checking for train-travel from me to london 🙈 Apart from it not being much cheaper than planes it's also much more hassle... Even without things going south (I know!
