I'm always afraid I'll step on a snail 🐌 when I go to my backyard at night to fetch lulu 🐈 but sometimes I step on one, and am horrified that I've crushed their shell 😥 then I learnt that snails can fully repair their shells with the calcium deposits they hold in their bodies. 😃 ...to my amazement, one of these lil' snails made a full recovery by morning. So relieved 😅 nature is good. #snailfacts

@lacybarry@climatejustice.social I heard you can put egshell as protection on the broken part and just stick it there with some glue that will dissolve again after some time. Unfortunately when I step on a snail usually too much damage is done already.
