God is kind of difficult to work with in a religion bc it requires both some immense of being that is something perhaps beyond what we can understand at all and yet also proposes that the ground of being is in some way personal and willing to inject itself into this world of relational existence. i think to fail to understand this in either direction ends up with either a demiurge (whoch may be viewed as good or bad) or no one overarching deity at all

@lizzie@brain.worm.pink I feel like the issue is we can't comprehend someone (or something) thay loves literally all of the universe and also all of us individually. It's something a lot of people have a hard time coming to terms with.
