@mirth@mastodon.sdf.org do you have some quality starting points? preferably "book that will stand the test of time" (i.e. focusing on fundamentals, algorithms, concepts, rather than concrete technology necessarily).

@mnl@hachyderm.io I don't know of a single reference, Vitalik Buterin's blog read in reverse chronological order will get you pretty far. Many of the widely quoted authors in the area have the gross misunderstanding that they are solving societal problems with technology. Lots of interesting gizmos and gadgets, not a lot of actual solutions (or "utility" as they like to call it).
