watts are also insane. can't remember who (maybe mads pederson) who hit 1000 watts multiple times in a race and was back at it the following day.
if i somehow ever hit 1000 watts on a bike, they would be picking the exploded fragments of my heart out of my teeth and most of my rib cage. :)

@paul_ipv6@infosec.exchange a kilowatt... They're tooling along, eating and chatting at speeds I have never hit in a sprint. I know they're different from regular humans, but dayum.
