@KeithMcNeill@mstdn.ca Resource extraction and environmental degradation, goes well beyond CO2 emissions. The global economy has exceeded planetary limits. It will experience a dramatic decrease in the resources it needs to sustain its current level, much less grow. Every community needs to understand and come to terms with their exposure to global supply chains, and figure out how to make do without them. The ones that do have a better chance of not only weathering extreme weather, but prospering
