@tinker@infosec.exchange I’ve tried that, yeah. Doesn’t seem to help much, but idk that I’m doing the rest of it right, the bag says 2 parts water to one part rice, bring to boil uncovered, then reduce to simmer and cover once the rice/water level equalizes until the water is absorbed. The method I’ve had the best success with is browning with a little bit of oil until it’s showing faint color, then rinsing, then cooking as directed. Not sure if it’s the oil, the browning, or both that are key, I haven’t been willing to experiment with everyone else’s dinner once I got something working.
