Even if the people who are only at such schools for that long time don't lose their great character, their view on life and the world is so unrealistic that it'll take them a long time to actually get into the world. Because they'll stay under the hood of these institutions even after they finish school, see the ridiculously paid apprenticeships and living conditions in the dorms for example. And then, they have still not learned how it's like when their disability isn't always in the focus.
