@AlexInBlue@lgbtqia.space my brother and I are very close and we make risque jokes to each other all the time so this was a joke with a sentiment that I appreciated. Totally understand if it doesn't come off that way out of context though Yeah I'm working on limiting my caring at a healthy point because otherwise I know it'll just overwhelm me. Still feels odd to push out thoughts that I think are important for my own sake though

@johanna@lgbtqia.space I understand that. Are *all* of them really important? Using the example of the UK as one that does not live in the uk and is luckily in a place where uk influence is limited, knowing that UK is a country not safe to visit and it has a strong rise of transphobic movements and its general characteristics is very important... But knowing every legal challenge? Every fight happening in whatever English city? Are those details that important? Or are just clogging your head? Another example I remember is that there was someone in this mastodon that at some point was talking about every single anti trans legislation in each and every state of the US ... I blocked them out of "do I even need to know about every single bit of legislation there, even in the ass of nowhere Wyoming???"
