The end of my conversation on the phone with my father who is slowly losing himself to alzheimers... Dad: "Thanks for calling son." Me: "No problem. Glad I could help. how are you feeling otherwise?" Dad: "Well I can't remember who I am half the time. Too bad this didn't start earlier eh?" Me: (laughing) "Ah you aren't so bad dad." Dad: (laughing) "Tell that to the people around here. I think they like me more now!" Both of us: (laughing) Dad: "What were we laughing about?" Me: "Dad!" Dad: "HA!"
