Day two in a row of picking up parcels with pollita.
Hiked out to the big Fedex warehouse at LIS airport. 15min walk from the Airport metro in the hot sun (somehow still more walkable than many American neighborhoods). Managed the interaction flawless again, and wound up.... with a 28kg (62lb) box (3D printer kit). This is barely more than half the weight I dropped OFF MY ENTIRE BODY last year. So surely I can carry it? (Don't call me Shirley.)

I mean, I can. Just. But only for like 50m at a time tops. And I know it's 50m, because the ride share I called couldn't come all the way into the lot because the gate wouldn't rise, so I had to schlep that distance TWICE to get it the 100m out to the curb. Driver *does* go the extra mile helping me load and unload from his car though. Even carried into my apartment atrium. Have a 50% tip. 🧵2/3
