@klymilark@wall.fallcounty.omg.lol @cmccullough@polymaths.social these open source things are not the exclusive property of the current firefox management. There is a huge amount of blood, sweat and tears in that codebase, we need not surrender it to objectionable people. Thankfully we can fork it.

  • @Bredroll@mas.to My particular problem goes back over a decade. It's been against their AUP (which is legally binding) since at least 2014. It may not be the property of the current management, but Mozilla has had this opinion for at least 12 years. There are forks of Firefox which don't take a stance on what you can watch, but those aren't Firefox; they're forks of it. Broadly the recommendations aren't for LibreWolf, Fennec, Tor, etc, they're for Firefox.
