At times, the irony of History has a particularly bitter taste...
I've just learned that both Sam Altman and Aaron Swartz were part of the very first cohort, in 2005, of YCombinator (a startup accelerator)...

Aaron Swartz was a [h]ac[k]tivist who illegally downloaded the documents of JSTOR, a library of academic documents of all kinds, because he was convinced that knowledge should be freely accessible to all... This landed him in enormous legal trouble, which drove him to suicide in 2013...
