If it’s entirely up to us to provide human rights to ourselves, and whenever someone can’t do that and therefore doesn’t have a supposed human right it’s seen as a personal failure rather than systemic, then sure seems like human rights don’t actually mean anything.

Guaranteed “access” to housing. If your too poor, you just die in the street. (This is basically the model of Obamacare btw)

Guaranteed housing is a policy that got implemented by a few states. Those states have consistently been the most successful states in terms of improving their people’s living standards. A state not implementing guaranteed housing is a state that decides to harm its people by forcing them to live on the streets.
