Saying the words "chronic pain" and living it are two very different things and why I think there is such a huge gap in understanding when I talk to folks about this stuff who have never experienced it.
You can't bargain with it, you can't reschedule it, its not like an injury that slowly gets better over a few days or weeks. It always on, it always exists and there isn't really any good advice other than just "try to manage it the best you can".
The worst part for me though is being the constant broken record about the same problems over and over again. I want to talk to my friends about it when I feel bad but how many times can we conduct the same exact conversation about the same set of issues before its just like "okay we get it, your hips and legs hurt again and you're upset about it".
After dealing with this for 4 years its becoming very frustrating even for me to deal with it, let alone the friends I lean on to help me get through it.

@ReignOfRaining@transfem.social there are improvements to be made and treatments that help. Unfortunately it is all hard work that requires relative consistency and a doctor who listens. And the set backs are very disheartening.
