@decryption@aus.social Looking at Wikipedia, one of the stations opened in 2005, and the other in 2014:

There was an older station at the Marshall site, but it closed in 1957. With no nearby stations, there wouldn't have been an incentive to centre the services near the rail line during that 50 year period.

@jamesh@aus.social the station wasn't there, but the line was - they should have zoned that land commercial or whatever and build the station and shops/community facilities at the same time. Shit planning and lack of vision.
