Hello I had my first actually scary bear encounter today 😬 Was taking out the trash this morning and there were weeds over there, so I was bent over doing some quick weeding when I heard a grunt and a bear charged at me outta nowhere. Scared tf outta me!! They are very scary up close and coming at you! It backed off when I stood up and yelled, but we had a standoff for a bit where it held court over my whole driveway and I didn't know how to get back to my home lol so I just went for a walk away from there. What a way to wake up! I think it is because I was near a source of food (the trash) and looked small (bent over weeding). so i will not be weeding at all any more, RIP to my curb appeal. On the bright side I'm the only person on the block that didn't get their trash torn into today
