My point exactly.
I played FF7 on my PS1.
I mean - I can't point a finger, I'm currently deep in Diablo2 - but it's on an open platform that won't try to sue me for running software I paid for on an emulator.

@tbortels@infosec.exchange the new remake is the same in name only; otherwise it's an entirely new (and gorgeous) game. New story, new gameplay, new battle mechanics options, new PoV, and the whole thing looks like a cutscene even when you're just running between enemies.
