Related: someone on a different network suggested that it might be caused by metric vs. imperial sunset timing, and I’m embarrassed by how long I thought about that before realising.

@rmi@cloudisland.nz OTOH there are different times for civil, nautical, and astronomical, twilight and dawn / dusk. Because the definitions differ on how far from the horizon the sun needs to be for it to count.
