I have been advocating for the desktop Linux world to do this for like a decade or more, and I've been attacked and ridiculed for it.
I saw all this shit coming years before anyone else did. I'm the Kassandra of tech, just far less hot.

@thomholwerda@exquisite.social What limits a web browser of today to use only a single engine? Creating a new web engine is impressive but not impossible. Making it work for and to be accepted by some of the services just assumed to work (GMail, Microsoft online) are difficult though. So use two, the clean one for most and the chrome one for specific sites that tracks you anyway.
