@ZRDR_DelRio@shitposter.world @The_Vampire_Brigade@detroitriotcity.com I (and perhaps most others) know Bethke from an amusing novel that he penned called Headcrash, which is about a geek who's involved in no few intrigues when hired to crack a corporate server. Beale's fairly famous for his disrupting the Hugo awards, and a few of his rightist nonfiction books are worth reading. His fiction is otherwise mostly fantasy distinguished by good concepts and bad prose. He expelled me from his blog's forum in August of 2019 when my magniloquence aggravated some of his regulars, and I had way more fun than they did with our consequent exchanges. He is not a man tolerant of controversy initiated by others. Anyway, Headcrash is fun if you like stories about computer nerds.
