I forgot I transplanted these day lilies into the compound garden. They're putting on quite a show. As I was taking the photos I got yelled at by the robin who has a nest in the grape arbour which is near the lilies. Then I got yelled at by an irate sparrow. I suspect that nest might be in the other grape arbour that's just outside the compound gate. I refilled the hummingbird feeders (the hummer was wondering what all the fuss was about; she just wanted the buffet topped up) as the other two birds continued to voice their displeasure. Apparently they're fine with the cat, who's currently doing his statue impression, hoping a mouse might show up. #Bloomscrolling #LifeInTheCompound
