@troy_frizzell@mstdn.social Because when the departments that collect the tariff dollars actually do so.... the legality is second to the reality. And the US legal system & political ecosystem don't seem able to handle a president who just skips congress & does what he wants & civil servants just obey. If illegal orders are executed by the machine of government - then what?
