@evcricket@mastodon.social will read. There’s divide b/w flight being pilot controlled (US Boeing) to Automated system controlled (European Airbus). The split is by pilot, “pilot first” to “automated system first” control. While there are few air crashes on either system, QF72 (Captain Kevin Sullivan, USN Ret. carrier qualified) comes to mind of the risks of auto control. Sullivan comes from Naval aviation and has good instincts. The automated may be small but they are risks. /
