The amount of spam calls I get is genuinely staggering. I suspect it's the result of having had a phone number for over a decade in the era of the data leak, but it's still deeply frustrating that I need to pay for a service to filter my calls to prevent this from being more annoying.

@garrett@infosec.exchange Most phones have a setting that rejects calls for anyone that is not in your address book. I've had that turned on for years. You have to be more diligent about proactively saving new numbers (like doctor offices), but it's so worth it. My work phone (which I can't turn that feature on) ring at least once or twice an hour with spam calls.
