Until very recently I was using medical transportation to get to/from medical appointments. I had no control over when they would pick me up and drop me off, or pick me up to take me home, but the average was 1-2 hours early and a half hour to hour after the appt. This was despite saying when the appt started and when it would be done. I always apologized profusely for being early to the front desk, and they were always understanding. I even got to strike up some interesting conversations with them becoming new acquaintances.
