Seeing Dems chase after white working class voters and uplifting and centering white males, as racist patriarchy always has, tells me that they haven't changed much during my lifetime.
None of this is new. Both parties chase white male power. It's just that the GOP is far, far better at it.

However, what's somewhat new is that the Dems have learned how to slather a veneer of lefty/progressive packaging on their usual reactionary white male chasing by appealing to the discourse around class politics. But you'll notice that their dialog around classism and the conflict between the wealthy and workers drops short when it comes to POC, women, or immigrants. Dems are (conservative) white male chasers. Always have been. That's who they try to appeal to when you look under the packaging
