Finally got around to swapping out the motherboard on my 3D printer. Unfortunately my issue seems to remain.
I suspect, based on the fact that it keeps getting stuck in the corner, that the USB cable linking the printhead is damaged from repeated bending. There are other reports of this failing, so that's my next best guess.

We have a resolution to the printer troubles?! Elegoo kind of threw up their hands and said, "send it back to us and we'll give you a refurb" which although would likely solve the issue, would be a huge pain to do, as I've ditched the giant box it came in. That said, I actually got an error code, and it was an abnormal Y-axis error. Sooo... I found the header for the Y-axis motor and made sure that sucker was pushed in. Now, we're printing??? It may have been a loose connection all along!!
