@flippac@types.pl I couldn't afford fertility storage and I was worried I'd loose HRT. So no, I didn't store anything. And no, probably I'd face the same issue. It doesn't mean I don't regret it. It's part of the human condition. Something I did always want and gave up and now...regret. But it's a valid question. A lot of people with kids regret it. I don't think I would have. I'll never know.

I now understand things about the intergenerational mess in my family that mean I'll do what I can for my niblings but am that much more certain I made the least bad choices at the time. Storage when I did it was a thing I could afford for long enough to matter when you're 20 or 21 and did before starting HRT. Certainly at the time, there were significant time limits: my relationship history isn't yours, but it's got an awful lot of shitshow in it.
