@CharlotteEowyn@chaosfem.tw so in my case it was partly about storage back in the 00s, surgery was 2018 but I'd been on a GnRH for years beforehand and certainly had no business assuming I was fertile... ...and the question I found myself looking at was: was I really up to looking after kids even with a loving and supportive (and, sorry, honest) partner? If I had to ask myself the same thing now (we're the same age) I'd add: for 18+ years?
