@writerchristina@cupoftea.social they seem bland and cookie cutter too. It's sad cos Kdramas have such interesting ways of presenting romance, and I love how they just randomly throw something supernatural into the mix sometimes. And I do love it when they get over the top.
Not that there aren't good kdramas, mind, but these days the bland ones outweigh the unique ones

@liztai@hachyderm.io Absolutely! I was just talking to my sister about that (we watch kdramas together every week) and we were lamenting how the romantic dramas don't make our hearts flutter the same way anymore.

@liztai@hachyderm.io @writerchristina@cupoftea.social I really enjoyed #TheInterestOfLove, a relatively recent drama for its messiness! I love a lot of the technical aspects of the newer dramas, but some of the older ones also have fabulous wardrobes and styling. I guess that I enjoy going back and forth between the old and the new. I also like having upcoming episodes to anticipate. #kdrama
