@liztai@hachyderm.io Absolutely! I was just talking to my sister about that (we watch kdramas together every week) and we were lamenting how the romantic dramas don't make our hearts flutter the same way anymore.

@writerchristina@cupoftea.social yea they've stripped them of their uniqueness. It has been given broad appeal so that streaming services can market them to as many markets as possible. It's just sad, and I hope Kdramas will recover from this.
