@CoMaps@floss.social Hm, the app now says I cannot use it in my car, because it is not downloaded from Google Play? (Or maybe I only noticed it now.) But it seems to still work with Android Auto, with stubs on my eOS phone instead of the Google Play stuff. Has something changed? Will something change?

@kallekn@mastodonsweden.se this has always been a limitation due to how Google controls Android Auto, see details here: https://www.comaps.app/support/how-to-use-android-auto/ We don't know if/how to get around this with alternative Android distributions as we can not test all of them
