Basically, Americans will pay more for Canadian goods, Canadian businesses might sell less as a result, and Canadians themselves become even more adamant about not buying American, which will last long after this asshole government is out on their ears.

@CStamp@mastodon.social I was listening to the radio and experts agreed that we should no longer consider the USA reliable for business. And that NAFTA won’t be respected by the USA regardless of their governments.

Aside from the general boycott, I was also wondering what American industry we should put the screws to next (we’re doing tourism and booze, what else can we target that will hurt these MAGA asshats)? Could we get Canadians to cancel their American streaming service subscriptions or Amazon Prime accounts en masse?
