To this day, I still don’t understand why people were so goddamn ANGRY that the Imperial protagonists in Star Wars: Battlefront II defected to the Rebellion mid-story. Were people really THAT eager to play unrepentant fascist death squads?
I mean, if that’s what you’re into, then Star Wars: Squadrons lets you play an Imperial squadron that never defects and even gets to blow up several civilian hospital ships for bonus points at one point.

@erkhyan@yiff.life the amount of star wars fans that claim to be liberal/whatever but still love the stormtrooper/imperial aesthetic is way too high tbh
