@USelaine@mastodon.online I saw a lot of whining about feeling insulted from him and not a lot of rational anything. it's a very damning characteristic in a person if you ask me. whining about not being respected is an EXCELLENT way to avoid acknowledging that one has failed at rational argument, as Matt Blaze didn't just do...he kept doing it. That jerkass teaches law! Heaven help his students. If he's that hypersensitive about his ego he must be an abysmal teacher, and looking over his CV on Wikipedia it's reasonable to guess that he got his teaching job through nepotism or even bribery since he was already a heavyweight in corporate computing.

@USelaine@mastodon.online Do I KNOW that Matt Blaze bribed a university into granting him a teaching post? No, of course not, but here's the real point: if someone asked Matt Blaze such a question, "Was there quid pro quo involved in your hiring?" I know exactly how he'd respond: like he'd been mortally insulted. He would not WANT people to know the truth and instead of addressing this very important point about whether he actually merits a teaching post instead of scamming his way into the job through "connections", he'd refuse to acknowledge it. I think this guy is a dunce. The sooner he trots off to BlueSky where he can feel safe from critical inquiry, the happier we'll ALL be.
