This sounds like the old reverse the victim/perp right here.
Blaze was told to CW anything "political". That is excessive policing of his words. He's not putting up pictures of decapitated puppies.

@USelaine@mastodon.online "excessive policing" is a funny way to describe a powerless comment from another user, one that Matt Blaze is free to ignore. but as I said, he chose to prioritize his hurt feelings and thus pretended there's a cause celebre in being asked to CW himself by strangers whom he can easily ignore
