I used the Vatican as an obvious example of what some people would never want to see, no matter what they say, and others would want to see everything they say. The tools are in our hands to screen.

@USelaine@mastodon.online indeed they are, hence it's a little puzzling when a purported professional such as Matt Blaze doesn't understand the purpose of the tools and prioritizes his hurt feelings over the wishes of the community at large.
