Soy milk is tastier than oat milk, for sure. My tastebuds signal it has the same rich and creamy flavour of canned evaporated milk, but out here (waves at the trees, wildflowers, creeping vines of the Carolinian Forest) the tiny local variety store doesn't offer it for sale and shipping by courier is waaay too pricy.. 🫤

@TrueNorthSpice@mastodon.world yeah, grocery store prices are killing me. I go through the store lamenting about it. My kids are likely exhausted hearing about it. Soy milk and oat milk work for me. Rice milk is tasty, but it’s too thin. Almond milk is a lie. It’s the worst possible creamer or milk you can use.
