Most people consider me pretty smart. I've spend many years in further education and I've had several books published, for example. But when it comes to the Monty Hall paradox, I'm completely lost. Yes, I can say the words "It's better to switch" and I can parrot the explanation given here, but on a gut level I just don't get it.
