@tsupasat@infosec.exchange I know it’s not the norm on trails but a .357 works well to clear out most predators and stop the ones that don’t.
Cougars, bear, and elk are plentiful and great from a distance but not something I want to see stalking me.

@leerayl@infosec.exchange Definitely, but it's unnerving for me to see other people open-carrying in the backcountry. My thought is that a spray would work just as well and not creep other people out.
