I'm bracing myself for disappointment as Burnham starts putting together his cabinet, but starting off by giving Reeves, Lammy and especially Steve Reed the sack is at least giving me some enjoyment.

Welp, he gave the Exchequer to neither Ed Miliband nor Shabana Mahmood, but John Healey. Which makes it doubly disappointing, because Ed didn't get it, and it presumably means Mahmood keeps the Home Office, where she's already causing the most damage.

@bodil@social.treehouse.systems I get the odd thing that does actually make me happy (as I'm expecting no improvement other than comms). Got an email about ending homelessness that was good (asking me to join the party). I just hope that another finger on the monkey's paw isn't going to curl to achieve that one.
